Which is more efficient? impellers or bladed engines?

Question: Which is more efficient? impellers or bladed engines?

I am trying to figure out which machine was more efficient. A centripetal impeller or a bladed jet engine type of thinger. If I crank both of them one revolution, which would put out more air/ water/ pop, etc. Thanks!!

It really depends on the angles of attack or blade pitch, and efficiency of design. Either one could be best, not knowing these variables.......... ..

If you are asking which works better, a jet or a prop. I'd have to say jet. Part of the reasoning is that a prop is essentially unbounded, while a jet is a confined area. To build pressure, a confined area is much more efficient.
