Are you trying to select a pump or a fan? If a pump: I assume you have the Pump Curve for the family of impellers you are considering. 1. Find the Design Discharge on the x-axis 2. Find the Design Pressure (Head?) on the y-axis 3. Draw a vertical line from the Discharge 4. Draw a horizontal line from the Pressure 5. Pick the next highest impeller curve over that crossing. That is your impeller. 6. (Extra info) There is an Efficiency Curve for that impeller (There are several ways these are drawn, so your will need to figure out how to use yours.) Read the efficiency for your impeller
