Can anyone tell me why a submersible pump has a low voltage charge after the power is turned off?
I have a submersible pump drawing water from the lake. When I turn off the power to the pump, there is still a low voltage charge 12 volts or so when you touch the pump. I have eliminated the sources for a ground fault. Any ideas why the pump has the low voltage charge?.

The problem is that I can't connect it directly to my tap. I was thinking of just connecting this to one of those aquarium pumps and just submerge it to a container of water.The question is, what GPM value do I need to buy for the submersible pump.Some details The hose is 1 2" , the pressure needed by MistyMate is standard house water pressure which is about 60 80 psi based on what I've googled . The whole Mistymate hose is about 40 feet long.
Our subdivision deepwell with a 30HP submersible pump lost water?
delivery after a drought last April 2007. The pump is 420 feet below the ground discharge. Well casing is 8 inch diameter and pump discharge line is 3 inch diameter with a 3 inch diameter butterfly valve .A check valve is installed 120 feet after the pump discharge. Another test showed that water delivery is lost after 5 minutes continuous run with the discharge valve fully opened. Pump can deliver water again only after a shutdown of 10 minutes. What is the cheapest way of rehabilitating the water source well. The well was tested continously for three days by our well driller with a 5HP pump delivering 25gpm. Drawdown level was only one meter.
How to recover a submersible pump from bore hole ?
Recently I installed a 4" submersible pump in a newly drilled 4.5" dia. and 205' deep bore hole at a depth of 150' from surface.During recent september rain The bore hole was chocked by mudy water being pumpedout due to power failrure.Now it is burried under a cover of 50' soil and 100'water.My all attempt to recover the pump failed.I shll be thankful if some body kindly suggest as to how to recover the pump out of borehole ?

Submersible Pumps Start Problem?
I have submersible pump that can select auto mode start stop or manual mode start stop. However if I put on auto mode, the pump always start and stop intermittent every 30 seconds. But if I put on manual mode this problem never happen. Could u share if every bode have an idea? Thanks
